Portrait of Dr. Mohammad Hossein BasiriMOHAMMAD HOSSEIN BASIRI

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology. My academic and engineering background spans control systems, intelligent sensing, state estimation, robotics, connected and automated vehicles, and cyber-physical systems.

I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (joint with Systems Design Engineering) — Systems and Controls from the University of Waterloo. During my doctoral studies, I was a member of the Real-time Embedded Software Group and the Smart Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Systems laboratory.

After completing my Ph.D., I served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). I subsequently worked in the automotive industry on advanced driver-assistance systems, contributing to the development of intelligent vehicle technologies.
